Jennifer Ways has been a member of the California Bar
for 18 years. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State
University and Hastings College of the Law at the University
of California at San Francisco. Ms. Ways came to the firm
in 2008 and is a partner in the San Francisco office.
Ms. Ways' trial experience
has included will contests, property disputes, personal
injury claims and primarily products liability defense.
She has been involved in asbestos litigation since 1991,
having served as local counsel for a national insulation
contracting firm for over 10 years, and has represented
national and international contractors as well as manufacturers,
suppliers and premises owners in asbestos trials.
Ms. Ways has successfully argued many pretrial motions
which have resulted in dismissals, including summary judgment
and motions in limine. She has been involved in over 30
jury trials and has extensive experience negotiating toxic
tort and environmental claims in the San Francisco area.
