Fred Gordon Lucky, Jr. graduated
from Claremont Mens College (now Claremont McKenna College)
in 1967 and from the University of Texas School of Law
in 1970. Admission to the Texas and California Bars followed
in 1970 and 1973, respectively, as well as his service
as a judge advocate, then military judge, in the U.S. Marine
Corps from 1970 to 1975.
Mr.
Lucky was an associate attorney with Haight, Dickson,
Brown and Bonesteel from 1975 to 1978 and a partner chronologically
from 1978 to 2005 at Norby & Brodeur, Lucky & Smurro
and Hildebrondt & Lucky. In the 1980's, he was one
of ten regional trial counsel for Raybestos-Manhatten/Raymark
Industries and Celotex. He has personally negotiated over
10,000 lawsuits for settlement. Mr. Luckys practice currently
includes the defense of products liability and toxic tort
litigation matters.
