Stephen
C. Klausen has been Of Counsel to the firm since 2002,
having practiced law since 1973. A history major at UCLA,
Mr. Klausen was also an All-American baseball player
and graduated as an "Outstanding Senior" in
1968. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the UCLA School
of Law in 1972, and is admitted to practice in all of the
courts in California.
Mr. Klausen’s current practice emphasizes the defense
and litigation of asbestos personal injury and wrongful
death claims in the California courts on behalf of product
manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, contractors and
premises owners. Prior to his association with the firm,
he litigated and defended complex personal injury, property
damage, product liability, insurance bad faith, construction,
commercial and transportation related claims for a myriad
of clients in all courts and venues throughout California.
He has tried, arbitrated and mediated hundreds of cases
from Los Angeles to San Francisco, San Diego to Ventura,
Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo, and throughout the Inland
Empire (Pomona, Riverside and San Bernardino).
