Andy
J. Goetz graduated from the University of California,
Berkeley in 1983. In 1986, he received his J.D. degree
from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and began his legal
career with the law firm of Shield & Smith, wherein
his practice areas were primarily in the fields of premises
liability, automobile accident litigation, toxic tort and
asbestos litigation
By 1988, Mr. Goetz's practice centered around toxic tort,
chemical exposure and asbestos litigation. Mr. Goetz currently
acts as regional counsel and national counsel for a number
of chemical companies, asbestos manufacturers, industrial
contractors and premises owners.
Mr.
Goetz has been a member of the law firm of Prindle, Decker & Amaro
LLP since its inception on March 1, 1990. He became a
partner on March 1, 1992. He is a member of the American,
California and Los Angeles County Bar Associations, as
well as the Southern California Defense Counsel and the
Defense Research Institute.
